One of the Prodata Directors has provided voluntary input and advice into a Local Government body's research programme conducted as part of a Village Appraisal scheme, in Buckinghamshire.  This work took place in Spring/Summer 2003.

Prodata recognises the importance of the development and education of young people in business. As a result, we have developed strong links with schools and colleges through the Government’s Young Enterprise scheme.

Directors of Prodata are proud to be involved at regional board level in this growing and successful nationwide initiative, involving over 2,600 schools and colleges, and 76,000 students.

Young Enterprise is aimed at increasing awareness of the requirements of business, through encouraging teams of pupils to create and manage 'virtual companies'.

The operation of these companies allows pupils with the help of experienced professionals to experience the hard work involved in setting up and running a successful organisation.

The Government sees the scheme as an important link between the business leaders of today and those of the next generation, by preparing them for life in the 'real world'.

Prodata Directors spend time formulating regional strategy on a number of Young Enterprise boards, as well as hands-on workshops to show young achievers how to implement many aspects of business, including effective marketing strategies.
